Main
This Convertible was purchased new by a Captain in the Air Force and shipped to Germany for four years. It returned to the states in '75 and was sold to a housing officer at a base in Missouri, who bought it for his wife. It was originally red with a red interior, which is very rare, and was originally a 318 Barracuda. It was rebuilt into a 'Cuda recreation with a black interior and the 340, Torqueflite auto, 3.55 Sure-Grip and front disc brakes from a '70 'Cuda Hardtop donor car. The houseing officer sold it to an attorney who was going to have it restored, but after disasembly lost interest and the shop put the car 'out back' close to the river. . .everytime the river went over it's banks, this ragtop was literally underwater!!
