TRAILER QUEENS, What are they good for, absolutely nothing. DRIVE THE DARN THING!!!

I've owed this Chevelle since late 1981 I purchased it from a little old lady (no joke) with 89,000 miles on the clock. It was a 327 powerglide car with A/C, power brakes, power steering; originally it was turquoise with black top and black sport interior (buckets and console). I drove it for a number of years just the way it was. After the birth of my son I decided to repaint the car and color change was order, I painted it black cherry with some very minor graphics. After about an addl 100,000 miles it was time to do the engine and trans, I rebuilt the original 327 and had the powerglide built. This car was my daily driver for years I took both my son and my daughter home from the hospital in this car. After a close encounter was a very large pothole the car was sidelined for number of years, 13 to be exact. Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend 2006 I pulled the car out storage I just wanted block the primer I had applied years earlier, paint it, put a fresh engine it and enjoy it. Once I started blocking out the primer I found it had cracked in a number of areas, by the time weekend was over it was completely bare metal and on it's way to being completely torn apart. After ten months of work and one year of time it was finished and was taken to it's first of many shows. The show was on Memorial Day 2007.
I completely rebuilt this car myself with some help of my wife, daughter and son, the only thing I did not do myself were the seats, a good friend did those. I replaced the frame with GM boxed frame, plumbed it with hand bent stainless steel hard lines and AN fittings throughout, installed a new GM 350 crate engine that was re-camed and modified before it was installed. I used a GM serpentine belt system, I wanted this car to look as if it built this way from the factory but cleaned up. Installed a built 700R4 trans, a 12 bolt diff that I replace everything inside, 3:73 w/posi unit, installed 13'' front and 12'' rear drilled and slotted rotors, full stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust system, every nut and bolt was stripped, cleaned and replated.
This car has all original sheetmetal with the exception of the 2'' cowl hood and two small patches on fenders for some minor rust. The body was straighten, primed and blocked to perfection inside and out, firewall smoothed out before applying a black pearl base and numerous coats of a custom owner mixed candy green. The underside of body has been painted and clear coated with satin clear for easier cleaning.
Interior is basically stock, factory buckets seat that completely torn apart seat frame bead blasted and painted before being re-foamed and covers installed, completely Dynamat throughout, Pioneer head unit w/XM installed in the factory location with a custom made bezel to retain a stock look, full factory gauges, full sound system 2 Rockford amps pushing 2 10'' sub in an enclosure and multi speaker system.
Factory wire harnesses were disassembled and modified to handle the increased power demands. Most harness re-routed for a cleaner look,
the factory A/C system retained but modified te system with orifice tube and cycling switch and modified A/C evaporator to re-route A/C lines inside fender for a much cleaner look.
